15-Year-Old Boy Shot in Clinton

A 15-year-old boy was shot in Clinton Thursday. According to a news release, Clinton police officers and firefighters responded to the 200 block of Fayette Street for a report of a person shot just before noon. When they arrived, crews found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital for what are believed to be life threatening injuries. Police say the boy was shot when people inside the home were handling firearms. Caleb Davis has been arrested and charged with Felony reckless use of a firearm and Assault while displaying a weapon. Everyone involved has been identified and police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
